Over the last ten years GECO personnel have overseen various stormwater improvement projects across the state of Virginia. These projects vary from simple sediment basin cleanouts to complex stream restoration projects. The GECO staff holds a variety of qualifications and certifications to meet the diverse needs of each project (see "About Us" section for qualifications and certifications).
Stormwater Inspections and Swppps
GECO personnel conduct stormwater inspections and write SWPPPs on a regular basis. Several of our employees have received DEQ training in Stormwater Management and Erosion Sediment Control to ensure inspections are relevant to our clients and incorporate the latest regulatory guidelines/instructions.

Stormwater Measures Installation
Due to the variety of construction projects we have completed, GECO has installed many best management practices (BMPs) with increasing complexity. Extended Detention Basins, Bioretention Ponds, and Cellular Confinement Systems, Grass Channels, and Level Spreaders are a few of the most recent BMPs we have completed. GECO has installed nearly every size of stormwater pipes and culvers, HDPE and RCP, drop inlets, manholes, and end-walls for new stormwater handling projects or to improve/repair existing systems.
Drainage Improvements
GECO has constructed numerous drainage improvement projects on government property/facilities, and commercial sites to meet regulatory requirements, protect infrastructure, and conduct necessary maintenance activities.
